Miguel provided excellent customer service and made sure he got our order perfect. The food here is also unique compared to so the other genetic places around Ilford, it was a straight 10/10. I would highly recommend the steak and spicy rice as well as the chops from here.

Was there last Friday and ordered sirloin stake with chips. The stake it self was fresh and was tender. If the meat is chewy or rubbery that is dead give away that it is an old peace of meat. But this was no Also if you order chef’s special sauce please please don’t put any sauce on it otherwise you will ruin the taste. But again this is my personal opinion.
The marketing for this restaurant is on point, company logo on everything, the queue was out of the door. The food was tasty, the price is reasonable for steak. Also, it was cooked to perfection! The lads behind the counter are amazing. Even though it was busy, they served us with a smile. They even walked round to check on us. The food came out very quick considering how busy it was. I couldn’t finish the food as the portion size is big. Well done lads, you got this!
I’m from Birmingham was recommended this place by family member as wanted something quick and convenient before I head back home guys were brilliant , I had steak and chips box with rice and fried egg was really nice and cheap too !! definitely value for money will come back guys had offered us free churros as first time we come bless them thanks lads
Excellent Grilled chops, perfectly cooked, the sauce is spectacular, the presentation of the food is excellent. They have a very varied menu designed for adults and children. Good prices, excellent treatment of people. In short, they think of everything, they even give you towels to clean your hands after eating. I will definitely come back.
Went to this establishment with friends, 5 of us in total came together from all parts of London to visit Steak Box. We all ordered a different type of steak box, with some wings as side. In particular the Sirloin steak and chips. The chips and steak was amazing, meat was cooked medium-well the way i like it. The meat is cut into smaller pieces of strip ready so no need for a steak knife to cut any meat. Simply stab your fork into the steak and chips and away you go. The wings were of good size and very saucy depending on the type of wings you order, better than wingstop wings in my opinion. You can also mix and match the flavour of wings which is great. Got a bit chilly as we were near the door, so we moved. Definitely need a thermoscreen door heater on top of the door to block cold air blowing in. This was going to be a 4 star review until our mexican boss man brought in the chocolate and cinnamon churros... everything changed, my jaw dropped. I am one who has never liked churros, its usually hard and too crunchy. So i tried these churros from Steak box with some reluctance. The churros that i knew were no more. These were the best Churros i have ever tried. It was served piping hot, chocolate and cinnamon... ufff and i love cinnamon! Just look how hot and soft these churros look in the pictures. So i asked what kind of chrruos these were as it was nothing like i had tried before. I was told by boss man they were Mexican Churros! They need to open up a Churro box now. Give this place a try, its worth it. I came out the shop singing... "Arriba Arriba Andale Arriba!"
Nestled in the heart of Ilford, right next next to the NatWest building, Steak Box is a great place to get your 'steak & chips' fix. It's got limited seating, but does the job for groups of 4. The staff is friendly and took the time to explain how the menu works. We ordered the sirloin steak and chips with the house sauce (9/10). The steak was really nice, juicy, and tender, and the chips were spot on also. The selection of softdrinks is quite decent also. A good spot in all! Parking is a bit of a mission, but that's Ilford for ya! Would recommend trying these guys out.
